ORTEC installs containerized Biofuel stations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ORTEC (integrator of engineering and works solutions) has embarked on a <strong>decarbonization<\/strong> program to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. With 180 branches throughout France and a diversified fleet including light vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and vehicles dedicated to transporting waste, ORTEC has undertaken to equip its sites with solutions for storing and distributing <strong>biofuels (HVO)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is twofold: to centralize fuel management for better control of consumption, and to pursue their energy transition.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2121 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stockagecarburant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/refueling-station-blocalps-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Refueling Station Blocalps\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stockagecarburant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/refueling-station-blocalps-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.stockagecarburant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/refueling-station-blocalps.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>What solution was implemented to meet ORTEC's needs ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To adapt its infrastructures to the specific needs of its various branches, ORTEC called on TSG and Blocalps to design and supply customized<strong> private storage and distribution stations for fuels<\/strong> and <strong>biofuels<\/strong>. In partnership with TSG, a <strong>container<\/strong> <strong>service station<\/strong> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stockagecarburant.com\/en\/product\/eurobox\/\"><strong>EUROBOX<\/strong> <\/a>range was installed at the Aisne department site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the features of the Blocalps EUROBOX service station ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Total storage capacity of 40 m\u00b3 <\/strong>: designed and built to meet the site's consumption requirements, the containerized station enables multi-product management with 30,000 liters of XTL diesel, 5,000 liters of GNR (Gazole Non Routier) and 5,000 liters of AdBlue.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Durable design<\/strong> : the closed module protects the tank and equipment. It consists of a single-slope, pre-painted galvanized steel cover with ribbed plates, guaranteed for 10 years against corrosion. A motorized curtain secures the dispensing cabin.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Optimized fuel management<\/strong> : a code access system opens the roller shutter and activates refuelling. Thanks to user recognition, the management system ensures precise monitoring of consumption and centralizes data at Group headquarters, providing complete visibility across all sites.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adapted dispensing<\/strong> : the cab is fitted with two dispensing nozzles for <strong>XTL<\/strong> and <strong>GNR<\/strong>, as well as one for AdBlue. Dispensing is located at the front of the <strong>above-ground service station<\/strong>, for easy access by tanker trucks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What constraints were encountered during installation ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The installation of this <strong>refueling station<\/strong> required adaptation to the spatial constraints of the site, in particular a narrow space located between a fenced-in area and a canopy, with access to the distribution station only from the front. The container station was therefore custom-designed to fit perfectly into this environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What benefits does ORTEC derive from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stockagecarburant.com\/en\/product\/eurobox\/\">EUROBOX<\/a> containerized service station?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the customized solution designed and manufactured by Blocalps, ORTEC has been able to :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improve the management of its fuel consumption by centralizing data and precisely controlling product intake.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce the operational costs associated with refueling its fleet with an in-house service station.<\/li>\n<li>Continue its decarbonization process by facilitating the switch to biofuels (HVO) and optimizing refuelling-related travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2123 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stockagecarburant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/biofuel-distribution-stations-blocalps-manufacturer.jpg\" alt=\"Biofuel Distribution Stations Blocalps Manufacturer\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stockagecarburant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/biofuel-distribution-stations-blocalps-manufacturer.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.stockagecarburant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/biofuel-distribution-stations-blocalps-manufacturer-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion: a replicable model for other sites?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This collaboration between ORTEC, Blocalps and TSG shows that it is possible to offer alternative fuel storage and distribution solutions to traditional service stations. Blocalps' above-ground fuel stations are fully adapted to customer specifications (size, type of fuel, volume, distribution location, ....). Thanks to their modular design, these containerized service stations require no landfill work, are scalable and environmentally friendly.
