Customer needs: autonomy and energy transition<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Port of Le Havre control station, a key player in sea rescue and ship guidance, faced a recurring problem in refueling<\/strong> its fleet. Until now, its boats depended on the port's public station, resulting in waiting times<\/strong>, limited fuel availability<\/strong>, and the inability<\/strong> to use cleaner energy solutions<\/strong>.
\nTo increase its autonomy<\/strong> and begin the process of decarbonization<\/strong>, the customer wanted its own private fuel station<\/strong>, offering diesel, HVO<\/strong> (hydrotreated vegetable oil, a low-carbon fuel), and AdBlue.<\/p>\n

The Blocalps solution: a custom-built container station<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Designed and manufactured by Blocalps<\/strong>, the EUROBOX<\/strong> container<\/strong> fuel station was proposed to meet this specific need.
\nMarketed and installed by S2EP, a petroleum installation partner, it blends perfectly into the port environment thanks to its custom configuration.<\/p>\n

The main constraint was the location: the refueling station had to be located at the edge of the dock without interfering with the boats' trajectory to the maintenance area. To meet this challenge, we developed a remote station, housed in a stainless steel box designed in-house, incorporating:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 An ALX management system<\/strong> for badge identification and consumption monitoring
\n\u2022 Three 15 m reels<\/strong> (diesel, HVO, AdBlue)
\n\u2022 A system of pumps<\/strong> pushing the fuel into the distribution box 10 m away via underground piping.<\/p>\n

To withstand the marine environment, the tank has a C5M anti-corrosion coating<\/strong>, specifically designed for coastal areas with high salinity. In addition, a black RAL finish was chosen to blend in harmoniously with the future port building.<\/p>\n
