A private ECOCUVE station by Blocalps has just been commissioned for a company specializing in the storage and maintenance of recreational boats. The installation meets a need for small-volume storage and distribution of unleaded petrol (SP95), within a context of safety constraints (ATEX) and controlled budget.

This is an above-ground ECOCUVE installation comprising a 2,000 L double-wall tank, an 8 m³/h pumping unit, and a dual-use pump allowing both dispensing and offloading, including without a pump on the delivery truck. This solution appealed to the client because it requires no civil engineering, is easy to use, and can be commissioned quickly.

This type of equipment is more broadly suited to light vehicle (LV) fleets: ambulances, driving schools, delivery services, local authorities, and nautical activities.

What is a containerized fuel station ?

A containerized fuel station is a turnkey solution, built from a shipping container or custom-designed to meet the specific needs of the transport operator and the constraints of their site. It takes into account:

• The volume of fuel required for the vehicle fleet
• Supply with single or multiple fuels (GNR, diesel, E5, E10, E85, AdBlue, HVO, B100, oils, etc.)
• Site-specific configuration and ICPE regulatory constraints
• Simultaneous distribution across one or multiple fueling lanes
• Aesthetic integration into the site environment

A containerized fuel station includes:

• Certified storage tanks capable of holding up to 100,000 liters
• Fuel dispensing systems (pumps, dispensing nozzles)
• Safety systems (containment, fire safety standards, ATEX compliance if required, secure access systems)
• A fuel management system
• An optional washing unit

At BLOCALPS, we are convinced of our responsibility as a company to pass on our know-how and help train the next generation. Every apprentice who joins us brings new energy to our teams, a willingness to learn, and a fresh perspective on our professions. This summer marks the completion of the journey for two of our young talents, Fatine and Rémi, whom we would like to recognize and celebrate.

Fatine worked within our Research & Development department, where she contributed to a project focused on the transportation of Bio-CNG, a strategic field for the future of sustainable mobility. Building on this experience, she now plans to pursue a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on sustainability. We are confident that she will rise to this challenge with great success.

Rémi spent two years training as a boilermaker-welder in our workshops. During this time, he gained valuable hands-on industrial experience and developed strong skills in metal fabrication, cutting, assembly, and piping. His dedication, consistency, and commitment to quality work were recognized by all our teams. He will continue his apprenticeship journey with EDF as part of a Professional Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance and Safety Professions. We thank him for his commitment and wish him every success in the future.

We are also pleased to continue supporting Lilou (Administrative Assistant) and Sarah (Marketing & Sales Assistant) in their professional development, as they will be continuing their apprenticeships with us for an additional year.

And starting this fall, we will welcome a new apprentice to our Quality team, ready to contribute in turn to our industrial projects.

On June 5, we took part in the 3rd edition of the Mobility Challenge. The goal? To encourage more sustainable modes of transportation, reduce our environmental impact, and strengthen our commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The day was marked by strong collective participation: 16 employees took up the challenge, representing 50% of our workforce. In total, 460 kilometers were either traveled sustainably or avoided thanks to more responsible mobility choices.

A Variety of Alternatives for a Real Impact

Here is a breakdown of the different solutions adopted by our colleagues:

• Six people cycled, covering a total of 44 kilometers
• One participant walked 6 kilometers
• Two colleagues chose carpooling, totaling 12 kilometers
• Two remote workers avoided 90 kilometers of commuting
• Four people combined different modes of transport (public transportation, walking, etc.), accounting for 297 kilometers
• Finally, one participant chose an original and eco-friendly means of transport… on horseback. She covered 11 kilometers while enjoying the company’s green surroundings

An Initiative Led by Our Internal “Human” Group

This event was organized by the “Human” group, which carries out concrete initiatives focused on workplace well-being and CSR. Thanks to their commitment, we enjoyed a meaningful collective experience that reflects the values we stand for.
