Ducreux, a food wholesaler specializing in the restaurant sector in the Rhône-Alpes region, ensures the delivery of a wide range of food products from its three sites in Lyon, Saint Etienne, and Grenoble. Already having private underground fuel stations at the Lyon and Saint Etienne sites, the client was captivated by the concept of above-ground containerized fuel stations to refuel its fleet of refrigerated trucks in Grenoble.
What are the Advantages of an Above-Ground Fuel Station?
The design of Ducreux's private fuel station required consideration of site constraints, adapting the station's dimensions to the existing layout while increasing the fuel tank capacity. Our engineering team adjusted the station's dimensions and proposed a custom version.
What are the characteristics of the custom containerized private station ?
The EUROBOX 30 m3 multi-energy station allows refueling with diesel, Non-Road Diesel (GNR), B100, and AdBlue. Ducreux is upgrading its vehicle fleet with B100-fueled vehicles. On its Grenoble site, traditional fuel vehicles coexist with a new generation powered by green fuel, making it autonomous in its choice of biofuel supplier.
To restrict access to the station's internal components to maintenance teams only, the client requested modifications:
A fuel management system is integrated, securing fuel access and enabling vehicle consumption tracking.
A dedicated room inside the fuel station accommodates a compressor and a high-pressure washer, making it a functional, practical, and secure all-in-one station.
Finally, this multi-fuel station is equipped with a double-walled tank and a leak detector, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
Ducreux now has a private multi-fuel station, making the food wholesaler autonomous in refueling all types of energy, managing its consumption, and eliminating wait times at public stations!
