At the strategic location of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, the SAMSIC Group provides passenger transport and logistical support services. In this highly secured environment, the company needed a reliable and compliant solution to ensure the daily refueling of its vehicle fleet. The goal was to install a storage and distribution point capable of handling multiple types of fuel, all while meeting the strict regulatory requirements of an airport platform.
The project involved several challenges:
Ensuring the secure storage of large fuel volumes
Enabling the distribution of multiple energy types (including low-carbon HVO)
Providing accurate consumption traceability by operator
Allowing for resale to third parties through a certified MID-compliant system
To meet these requirements, SAMSIC turned to BLOCALPS, a specialist in containerized fuel stations. In partnership with HECTRONIC, BLOCALPS designed and installed a custom EUROBOX fuel station tailored to the airport environment.
The station developed for SAMSIC can store up to 80,000 liters of fuel, distributed across four types:
40,000 liters of non-road diesel (GNR) for machinery
30,000 liters of HVO, a renewable fuel
10,000 liters of road diesel
3,000 liters of AdBlue
This large capacity provides full operational autonomy, even during peak activity periods.
The above-ground, containerized configuration of the EUROBOX station allows for quick installation with no complex civil engineering, and offers full mobility for future site changes. ICPE compliance is ensured through a single-wall tank, leak detection systems, an integrated retention basin, and a secured dispensing flap.
A key component of this container solution is the fuel management system provided by HECTRONIC. It identifies each operator or vehicle during refueling, enabling precise tracking of distributed volumes. The centralized system simplifies fleet management, optimizes operating costs, and allows for the resale of fuel to third parties via a MID-compliant metrological distribution system.
On a sensitive site like an airport, managing environmental risks is critical. Thanks to its above-ground structure, the station reduces the risk of slow soil contamination. Critical components are housed in a sealed module, and distribution is protected by a lockable motorized flap, ensuring safe operations even in adverse weather conditions.

Blocalps Container Station HVO Distribution
The installation of the mobile EUROBOX station enabled SAMSIC to secure its energy supply, cut logistical costs associated with off-site refueling, and maintain uninterrupted operations at Paris-CDG airport. This multi-fuel station also enables automated, transparent consumption management, eliminating billing errors and simplifying volume tracking.
This project demonstrates BLOCALPS’s ability to design tailored solutions for regulated, technical, and high-constraint environments. By combining modularity, compliance, automation, and energy efficiency, the EUROBOX multi-fuel station stands out as a powerful response to the current challenges faced by professional fleet managers.
