The placement of a fuel refueling point on tracks or in rail depots is crucial for accessibility and quick refueling.
Custom-designed by our Engineering Department, the EUROBOX containerized fuel station with a capacity of 50,000 liters of GNR (Non-Road Diesel) was selected by the client to meet their constraints. Its configuration takes into account the refueling requirements of locomotives, offering a double distribution track, making it a pass-through containerized fuel station. Additionally, two electric roller shutters with badge access secure the distribution cabin.
Equipped with high-capacity pumps, this mobile storage and distribution solution delivers a significant flow rate of approximately 200L/minute. This flow rate is optimized for the large size of locomotive fuel tanks, reducing refueling time from 45 minutes to 20 minutes.
The containerized fuel station includes a single-wall tank integrated into a retention basin for added security, a measure designed in anticipation of the rail depot potentially becoming a classified ICPE site.

The station features cladding and a single-slope roof made of pre-painted galvanized steel sheets. The closed module, which protects the tank and equipment, is guaranteed for 10 years against corrosion. For a polished finish and durable investment, the station's corners and gutters are clad in pre-painted sheet metal, and the roof is equipped with a gutter for rainwater drainage.
As a true customised station, a long hose (over 25 meters) has been installed to easily reach locomotive tanks. Additionally, the unloading point has been moved to the rear of the above-ground fuel station to facilitate access for tanker trucks.
